Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Music and Performing Arts Teacher to join our team at Altona North Primary School.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement engaging music and performing arts programs that cater to the diverse needs of students.Monitor and assess student learning, using data to inform teaching practice and provide feedback to students and parents.Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader school community to support student learning and wellbeing.Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the school's curriculum, teaching, and learning programs.RequirementsRelevant teaching qualifications and experience in music and performing arts education.Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.Experience in planning and implementing high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating their impact on student learning growth.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues.Working with UsAs a Victorian Government school, we are committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students.
