The museum welcomes our community and visitors to engage and participate in an extensive range of exhibitions, events, research, education programs and public engagement activities.Your new role:The Museum is seeking a Manager with exceptional strategic, management and leadership skills.
This position is responsible for managing the operations and facilities of the Museum in accordance with national industry best practices and policy.
This position is also responsible for leading the delivery of research, exhibitions, collection management, education & public engagement activities to the highest standards expected by the museum's audiences, stakeholders and community.Candidates will need to demonstrate extensive experience in the museum sector or other relevant industry, and extensive professional knowledge of Australian history.
Highly developed skills are also required in leadership, strategic planning, communication, financial & people management, and stakeholder engagement.
