About the role: We are looking for Multiskilled Carers to join our Residential team in the Kimberley town Kununurra on a casual basis.
Our site in Kununurra is Gerdewoonem, a well-established facility offering 40 beds of residential and memory support care.
Our homely atmosphere provides comfort to residents, including those living with dementia who require specialised support.
We are committed to delivering high-quality care and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff.
As a Multiskilled Carer, you will work closely with residents to support their daily living, social, and emotional needs.
In this role, you will share responsibility for the well-being of residents, providing person-centred care and enhancing their quality of life by ensuring they feel welcome and respected at all times.
Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, the successful candidate will honour our core values of Welcome, Respect, Compassion, Hope, and Courage.
The successful candidates will be offered a casual position. Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with hygiene needs, including bathing, dental hygiene, dressing, grooming, and personal careSupport residents' independence by helping them engage in activities of interest and use mobility aids when requiredComplete accurate and timely documentation and report information to relevant Nursing, Allied Health, and Management personnel as neededMaintain effective communication in the workplace, being respectful, open to change, and kind in your approachAssist residents with the administration of correct medication in accordance with Juniper's policiesKey Requirements: Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged CareExperience working in an aged care settingUnderstanding of AN-ACC documentationExperience working within a person-centred, enabling environmentWhy Join Us: Hourly rate $33.25-$33.76 (dependent on experience) + casual loading + 11.5% superSalary Packaging options of up to $18,550 p/aJuniperks: an online platform for peer recognition, wellness, and retail discounts.Health insurance discounts with HBF or MedibankSupportive and welcoming organisation with tremendous growth opportunitiesNon-profit, values-driven Western Australian aged care providerHow to Apply: Don't miss this opportunity to join a supportive team in a rewarding role!
