About us: Durock Drilling Pty Ltd is an Exploration Drilling company based in Dubbo NSW, that services clients Australia wide. Durock Drilling specialises in Reverse Circulation (RC), Air Core and Diamond drilling operations.
About the Role: We are seeking applications for experienced Exploration Drillers and Drillers assistants (RC & Diamond- Specifically) to join our team of professionals. This role is a casual position with great renumeration packages, rosters, professional development opportunities and career progression opportunities on offer. Candidates who possess experience in Drilling Operations are highly desirable, but not essential.
Successful candidates must: Be available for an immediate startHold a current HR licence - minimumPossess a Current National Police Check - Within last 3 monthsPossess current First Aid certificationHave the ability to satisfy a pre-employment medical (including a Drug and Alcohol screen) Be willing and able to work 12 hour shifts in remote locations across varying rostersBe punctual and reliable Be able to work in a team environment Have effective communication skills Successful candidates will be responsible for: Pre-start checks and safety inspectionsServicing and maintenance of drill rig and auxiliary equipmentRig operations (including set-up)Sample recoveryMaintaining hole (according to hole plan)HousekeepingManaging crew behaviour Inventory controlInforming the Drillers assistants of project detailsTraining of drill crews in their required tasksSafe operation of Rig & crewWe encourage individuals of all ethnicities, age and gender to apply as we are committed to being an equal employment opportunity employer.
