The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is seeking applications for multiple vacancies within the Corporate Operations Branch.
We are seeking motivated candidates to fill a range of opportunities across the Corporate Operations Branch for ongoing and non-ongoing roles.
These positions offer a unique opportunity to collaborate with DPS staff, the President's Office, and Senior Executive Services, contributing to impactful projects.

The Internal Audit Function is responsible for: Contributing to the development and delivery of the department's annual Internal Audit Work Program (IA Program), including:Undertaking research on internal audit topics.Monitoring other agencies' audits to understand government trends.Generating information and insights from datasets to report on audit activities for management and executives.Coordinating and supporting business areas during the course of an internal audit activity.Working in partnership with the department's audit providers in the delivery of risk-based and strategic audit and assurance activities.Managing the procurement of internal audit providers and monitoring work against the IA Work Program to assure delivery of agreed audit activities.Providing the Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) with high-level secretariat and administrative support to enable them to perform their functions against their Charter and in accordance with legislation, including:Providing advice and support to ARC members and staff.Implementing and delivering governance arrangements, including maintaining the charter and work plans.Delivering meetings, drafting agendas and papers, minutes, and management of actions.Appointment and contract administration for the ARC members.The Governance Function is responsible for: Driving the development of the department's governance arrangements to ensure legislative compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.Contributing to the design, delivery, and ongoing management of the department's overarching governance framework and current governance practices.Providing departmental committees with high-level secretariat and administrative support to enable them to perform their functions against frameworks and work programs, including:Providing advice and support to committee members and staff.Implementing and delivering governance arrangements, including maintaining committee frameworks and work programs.Delivering meetings, drafting agendas, papers, minutes, and management of actions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
