Assisi Catholic College is a picturesque, master-planned P – 12 co-educational college, administered by Brisbane Catholic Education with an approximate enrolment of 1500 students.
We are seeking a School Officer to undertake a range of tasks in supporting the needs of students, under the direction of the teacher, in our secondary classroom. Duties include: general classroom support; preparation of resources and clearing learning materials; using technology to support learning activities and administrative duties such as photocopying and filing.
Ideally you will have: previous experience as a Teacher Aide/School Officer and/or hold a minimum of a Cert 3 in Educational Support; proven communication and interpersonal skills; an understanding of the work of a secondary classroom and a willingness to work as part of a team. You will also demonstrate an ability and initiative to apply your skills in supporting students to achieve successful learning outcomes.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement; be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education. Commencing: Jan 2025
Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: Monday - Friday 6 hours per day, Part-time available
