Requirement: Must be Australian citizen with NV1 Clearance We have a requirement for multiple resources to fill various BusinessAnalyst roles across the division.
BA must have relevantindustry certifications and experience in the field.
A proven record ofaccomplishment in the analysis and design of successful businessoutcomes and strong client engagement is essential.
Demonstrableexperience in producing a range of BA artefacts is required includingbusiness and functional and non-functional requirements documents, userstories, business and systems rules analysis and mapping, BPMN models,and benefits articulation and measurement. Data modelling experience isdesirable.
Strong customer engagement and management, along with theability to work collaborative with a range of stakeholders is key to theseroles. Analysts must have excellent communication skills and be able towork with business, technical staff including testers, developers, andarchitects, and management stakeholders to be effective.

These roles are critical to project success as theyinform project scope and planning. Successful candidates are expected towork in a collaborative way using standardised approaches and templatesacross the IT Division with all products published on the division'scollaboration platform and records management tool, experience withproducts such as DevOps and building requirements traceability for projectsis highly desirable.
Role Requirements:
• Must hold a minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance.
• Minimum 3-5 years business analysis experience in software deliveryprojects is required.
• Drive and managing business engagement with a focus on ICTsystems and departmental reform. Experience working in complex ICTenvironments dealing with various software solutions includingbespoke, off-the-shelf and cloud technology.
• Produce standard analysis artefacts such as "as-is'/"to-be" businessprocess maps, user stories, high level requirements, functional andnon-functional requirements, cost benefit analysis and benefitsrealisation plans.
• Multi-task and be familiar a number of different intersecting projects andtheir respective ICT systems, business processes and broaderdepartmental and whole of government requirements while workingwith a cross section of business line areas.
• Experience with agile application development teams, experienceworking in agile software such as DevOps.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or part of a team andachieve successful outcomes for the division.
