Create content for the ABCFull-time, fixed term contract for 12 monthsLocation: Canberra, Parliament House BureauSalary circa $101K to 110K plus 15.4% ABC nominated superThe RoleThe Parliament House Bureau is looking for a Multiplatform Producer to focus on video and audio content for political programs from Canberra Parliament House and the planning of significant political events coverage with digital first content. The JobLead video coverage for digital, mobile and TV platforms.Assist with production of Afternoon Briefing and other political programs out of CPH.Oversee editorial processes ensuring bureau output meets ABC Editorial Policy and community expectations. Check and sub content for factual and style errors/inconsistencies and ensure content is accurate, timely and innovative.Position Description: 50067399 MULTIPLATFORM PRODUCER.pdfAbout YouYou will have outstanding knowledge of News production in a multiplatform environment and extensive experience managing live digital media, mobile and broadcast production. You will also bring:Leadership skills and experience in managing staffing and organising rosters and backfills.Proven and effective teamwork, communication, interpersonal and time management skills to operate in a busy newsroom environment.
