Join our Communication and Events team to lead production of a diverse array of multimedia products and initiatives – including our weekly podcast, new video on-demand program, promotional collateral and much more. With a focus on planning and production of multimedia content, you'll manage our broadcast media studio and collaborate closely with senior management and stakeholders. We are looking for someone who can be a jack or jill of all trades – ideally, comfortable getting hands-on with videography, photography, lighting, audio and graphics. Apply now to make a meaningful contribution to the national interest.This opportunity is being offered as a full-time position on a fixed term (12 month) appointment.Our Ideal CandidateOur ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field with demonstrated experience in multimedia production in a complex organisation or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and qualifications/training. This position requires sound knowledge of digital media communication, with a particular focus on multimedia outputs. Experience in studio operations will be highly regarded.To excel in this role, you will need excellent customer service and communication skills and a high attention to detail. You will be confident in advising on new and emerging multimedia methods and evaluating the effectiveness of current NSC multimedia outputs. You will be expected to show initiative, working effectively both independently and as part of the Communication and Events team. You will liaise effectively with staff and stakeholders in a culturally diverse environment, fostering collaborative connections across the University and beyond.While not a requirement for this role, given the nature of the NSC as a Commonwealth-ANU joint initiative dealing with national security agencies, having or being able to attain an Australian government security clearance would be favourable.
