The NSC aims to lift security capabilities and foster communities of practice through executive and professional development, academic teaching and research, futures analysis, policy engagement, dialogue and outreach. Join our Communication, Events and Engagement team to develop and implement a diverse array of multimedia initiatives. With a focus on design, production, and distribution of multimedia content, you'll manage our media studio and collaborate closely with senior management and stakeholders. You will provide comprehensive marketing, engagement and communications services and advice, contributing to our strategic objectives. Apply now to make a meaningful contribution to our team. This opportunity is being offered as a full-time position on a fixed term (12 month) appointment. Our Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field with demonstrated experience in marketing and communications in a complex organisation or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and qualifications/training. This position requires sound knowledge of digital media communication and marketing strategies, with a particular focus on multimedia outputs. Experience in studio operations will be highly regarded. To excel in this role, you will need excellent customer service and communication skills and a high attention to detail. You will be confident in advising on new and emerging multimedia methods and evaluating the effectiveness of current NSC multimedia outputs. You will be expected to show initiative, working effectively both independently and as part of the Communication, Events and Engagement team. You will liaise effectively with staff and stakeholders in a culturally diverse environment, fostering collaborative connections across the University and beyond. While not a requirement for this role, given the nature of the NSC as a Commonwealth-ANU joint initiative dealing with national security agencies, having or being able to attain an Australian government security clearance would be favourable.
