Aboriginality is a genuine qualification authorised under Section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination ACT 1977.Employment Type: Full-TimeLocation: Wellington NSWWellington Aboriginal Corporation Health Service (WACHS) is an Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation that aims to empower Aboriginal people to take control of their individual, family, and community health and wellbeing needs through our clinical and community programs.We are seeking a talented and creative multimedia/graphic designer to join our team and help us visually communicate our mission and programs.Your key objectives include:Develop and implement communications on behalf of WACHS.Raise WACHS public profile and promote understanding of our objectives and activities both internally and externally.Oversee all social media and website delivery, manage branding and build relationships with key media contacts.About youProven experience as a Multimedia/Graphic Designer or similar role.Experience working in media, marketing or communications, preferably for an Aboriginal organisation, not-for-profit or community services organisation.Develop visually appealing and culturally appropriate digital and print media designs, including brochures, posters, social media graphics, and presentations.Understanding of Aboriginal communities and their communication preferences.Collaborate with different teams to create engaging multimedia content that aligns with WACHS branding guidelines.Experience utilising digital content software, marketing software platforms, video editing and special effects and digital production.Strong storytelling skills, and excellent production and editing abilities which can be presented through a variety of formats.Experience in developing and implementing effective, multi-channel communications strategies and campaigns.Understanding of the principles of brand marketing, with experience in promoting a consistent brand experience in media relations.Ability to independently manage social media profiles and grow audience engagement.Strong written communication skills across multiple formats, targeted to diverse audiences.Understanding and respect for Aboriginal cultures and commitment to community-focused work.Confirmation of Aboriginality.Mandatory compliance requirements of the position:AboriginalityAustralian Drivers LicenceWorking With Children CheckProof of COVID vaccinationNational Criminal Record Check#J-18808-Ljbffr
