The Multimedia Designer role is a casual opportunity until 20 December 2024.
The Multimedia Designer is responsible for working on multimedia projects, resourcing as well as generating and manipulating graphic images, animations, sound, text and video into consolidated multimedia applications.
Key responsibilities include:
• Working with innovative technologies to extend the portfolio of online learning resources and services offered by the Teaching Development and Innovation team within BHI.
• Collaborating with employees across BHI and liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders, including teachers, operations managers, subject matter experts and industry partners.
• Assisting BHI with the supply of current best practice e-learning resources and teaching tools, to promote the use of blended e-learning and ensure the BHI retains its pre-eminent position as a quality education and training provider.
Requirements:
• A degree or diploma in Multimedia/IT and Graphic Design, and/or equivalent.
• Evidence of further studies or professional development in Multimedia is preferred.
• Experience in using industry-standard design packages to produce documents, images and animations for print-based and electronic media.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript coding and standards.
• Experience developing e-learning content and integration within a Learning Management System (MOODLE).
• Development of user interfaces and interactivities from concept to production.
• Adobe Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects (desirable).
• Microsoft Office 365 - Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Advanced use of digital still/video camera, and processing and compression of images, video and audio content.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to listen to client needs and actively seek to meet their expectations.
