The Multimedia and Graphic Designer is a highly valued member of the Generation Life marketing team and reports to the Marketing Technology Manager.
The role consists of the production of innovative and inspiring designs, prototyping, and development of client-facing assets in-line with Generation Life's company values whilst adhering to brand guidelines, ensuring that our clients have a positive experience when interacting with our brand.
This role involves understanding how users think, feel, and behave when using a product and identifying potential areas for improvement and designing solutions that address these issues, ensuring that our brand is visually reflected in all of Generation
Life's activities, by providing clients with exceptional, brand-aligned experiences including the concept and execution of all assets across all touchpoints.
The Multimedia and Graphic Designer is based in a high-performance and outcome-driven environment, this is fast-paced and as such requires an experienced individual who thrives in this type of culture.
Duties of this role will include, but are not limited to:
Developing user-centric designs by understanding the needs and behaviors of our clients, creating user flows and personas, and ensuring these are effectively applied across multiple channels, including digital and print media.Performing comprehensive user research and usability testing, crafting prototypes, and refining interaction models to resolve design and usability issues.Implementing the latest UX/UI principles and human-centered design methodologies to enhance user experience across our product range.Collaborating closely with developers and testers to ensure that design implementations are executed to specifications and contribute to an intuitive user interface.Continuously conducting usability assessments to gauge the effectiveness of designs, making necessary adjustments for maintenance and iterative improvements.Experience and Qualifications Minimum three years' experience working in design projects (financial services experience preferred)Bachelor's degree in marketing/graphic design or relevant field preferredHighly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud - Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere ProHighly proficient in UI/UX softwares such as Figma, Sketch,or equivalent wireframing/prototyping toolsExperience in using video editing tools and software such as After Effects and PremiereHands-on knowledge of HTML and CSSA good understanding of information architecture, user flows, UI design principles,What we offer This is an outstanding opportunity to join an innovative and market-leading organisation with ambitious growth plans.
