About the role Reporting to the Facilities Manager of the Spring Gully Asset, the Multiskilled Operator is to ensure the safe operation of Integrated Gas assets, including, but not limited to, coal seam gas compression facilities, water treatment facilities, pipelines and utilities.
This is achieved by:
Monitoring process plant and equipment to ensure correct operating envelopes.Identifying opportunities to optimise production, improve safety and lower costs.Ensuring availability of the sites assets as required.Operating and maintaining plant in a safe and reliable condition and in accordance with all relevant procedures and agreed maintenance philosophies and schedules.Taking ownership and developing intimate knowledge of plant and facilities.We are currently recruiting for a role that will be on a 2 on 2 off roster.
The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring all B2B communications and issue resolutions are provided in a timely manner and will join a highly functional and agile team which is flexible in its response to facilities and field operational challenges.
This is a live local role.
Origin will provide comprehensive relocation and living local allowances.
This means you must currently reside within or be able to relocate to the Maranoa Region. Is this you? You'll need to be a proactive and confident operator, who can work in an operational, focused and collaborative team.
You will be a strong communicator and have the ability to problem solve with limited direction.
Candidates will need to live in the Spring Gully camp while on shift and either live in the Roma region, or be willing to relocate.
Key skills and experience may include: Mechanical or Instrument/Electrical trade is preferredPrevious operations or maintenance experience in the Oil & Gas or similar Heavy Processing industriesGas engine, high pressure compression and/or complex control systems experience highly regardedCertificate III in Water Industry Operations (certificate IV highly desirable)2 years minimum experience with Microfiltration and Reverse Osmosis TechnologyCompetency in water related laboratory operationsPrior experience with PLC's, VSD's and instrumentationDemonstrated experience and knowledge in water treatment processes and risk management systemsFor more information, please contact Allison Wright - , quote Requisition ID 87518 or apply now.
