Role Overview:

An experienced engineering professional with expertise in mechanical and electrical maintenance, ideally in environments managing hazardous materials, you are prepared to join a global leader in manufacturing. Boasting renowned brands, this company is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and reactive maintenance, aiming to minimise downtime at our Deeside production facility.

Role Responsibilities:



Perform scheduled statutory inspections.

Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance on plant machinery.

Assist in investigating and identifying root causes of recurring breakdowns and implement long-term solutions.

Execute routine electrical inspections and carry out necessary repairs.

Work with team members to install and commission new equipment.

Accurately document all maintenance activities in the maintenance system to maintain a complete equipment history.

Complete tasks within the established timeframes.

Adhere to safety standards and recognised practices.

Engage in identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance.Requirements:



Completed Engineering Apprenticeship NVQ3/HNC Diploma.

Holds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and Compex Cert Ex01-06.

Experienced in maintenance roles.

Extensive experience in environments handling hazardous or flammable chemicals.

Provided building facility management support.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Advanced mechanical craft skills.

Strong awareness of health and safety protocols.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
