Experience in the use of excavators is essential.Projects are predominantly located in Mount Gambier and the South East region, although on occasion travel to other locations will be required.This role will be a challenging and rewarding position where your skills will be valued. If you are looking to work with a dynamic team in a growing business this job may be for you.Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and machinery checksOperate multiple types of machinery on civil sites, performing tasks such as excavating trenches, loading trucks, bulk earthworks, road preparation and final trimExcavating around underground utilities such as sewer, water and gas mainsAdhere to project timelines and drive projects to meet deadlinesFollow project plans and specifications, ensuring accurate execution of tasksRequirements:Proven experience in various machines used on construction sitesThe ability to excavate trenches to depth levelExperience excavating in trench shoringStrong understanding of safety procedures and will promote a safety culture on the worksiteAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCan show initiative to problem solve and prioritise tasks while working efficientlyMust have current drivers licence and other relevant licencesThis position will commence as casual, with the opportunity of fulltime for the right candidate.If you are a skilled operator apply today!
