Multi-Skilled Labourer – Urban Services We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Labourer – Urban Services to join the team. You will be responsible for undertaking vegetation control, plant operation and maintenance work effectively and efficiently within the Municipality that meets with legislation, industry standards and GCC's annual renewal and upgrade plans.
The successful applicant will have:
Good oral communication skills and be able to deal with the general public and other Council customers in an effective and efficient manner. The ability to read, analyse, and interpret detailed construction plans, design specifications and material safety data sheets (MSDS). An understanding and knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety. Ability to work in a team environment and changing environment. Qualifications required:
Certificate III in Horticulture and/or experience in vegetation control or a relevant horticultural field. It is desirable that the applicant have experience with operating small plant (brush cutters, mowers etc.). Current Medium Rigid Truck "MR" Class licence. White Card. Traffic Management Accreditation. Position Hours: Full-Time, 76 hours fortnight.
Salary range: $60,264.80 to $63,380.92 plus 14.5% superannuation.
