You will play a key role in delivering high-quality and efficient services to the community, ensuring the maintenance and enhancement of road infrastructure, streetscapes, and public assets.
About the RoleAs a Multi-Skilled Excavator and Bobcat Operator, your success will be measured by your ability to work collaboratively in a team, contribute to high safety and quality standards, and improve the integrity of Yarra's public infrastructure.
You'll operate a range of equipment, including excavators, bobcats, and trucks, while working on diverse civil and construction tasks.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate Excavators and Bobcats for various civil maintenance and construction tasksDrive Trucks (HR) to transport materials and equipment between sitesExcavation Work including asphalt and concrete cutting, roadworks, footpaths, and other civil construction tasksGeneral Civil Construction including work on asphalt, bluestone, concrete, kerb, and channel installationWho We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will be someone who is skilled in operating both excavators and bobcats and is keen to contribute to the maintenance of vital public infrastructure.
You will be able to work well with others, maintain high standards of safety, and help keep Yarra City's streets and infrastructure in top condition.
