About the Opportunity Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology has exciting opportunities for Multi-Disciplinary Scientists to work at our Wesley laboratory or our Ipswich laboratory.
These are laboratories based stat labs where we are on the forefront of patient care.
Wesley applicants must be flexible to work across a 24/7 roster.
For Ipswich applicants, we have a 7 day roster between 0600 - 0000.The main aim of the role is to perform medical laboratory tests to provide advice for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases and other disorders.
Responsibilities: Performing a range of diagnostic medical laboratory techniques; Performing all tasks relevant to a particular scientific shift or a particular section of the laboratory as specified in departmental manuals; Upholding quality standards within the laboratory by adhering to departmental quality system procedures; Complying with the occupational health and safety policy and programs to ensure personal health and safety, and the health and safety of others in the workplace; Satisfying the requirements of customers both internal and external through the provision of reliable and efficient service levels. About You To be considered for this position you will be degree-qualified in Medical Laboratory Science or a similar degree which included blood bank and haematology related subjects.
