About the Opportunity Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology has an exciting opportunity for Multi-Disciplinary Scientists to work at Greenslopes Private Hospital and Wesley Hospital laboratories. Applicants must be flexible to work across a 24/7 roster.
The main aim of the role is to perform medical laboratory tests to provide advice for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases and other disorders .
Some of the responsibilities of the role include:
Performing a range of diagnostic medical laboratory techniques; Performing all tasks relevant to a particular scientific shift or a particular section of the laboratory as specified in departmental manuals; Upholding quality standards within the laboratory by adhering to departmental quality system procedures; Complying with the occupational health and safety policy and programs to ensure personal health and safety, and the health and safety of others in the workplace; Satisfying the requirements of customers both internal and external through the provision of reliable and efficient service levels. About You To be considered for this position you will be degree-qualified in Medical Laboratory Science or a similar degree which included blood bank and haematology related subjects.
