About the Role As the Manager, Data Migrations, you'll lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering critical data migration services in a fast-paced, complex environment.
Leveraging your expertise in data technologies and leadership, you'll ensure the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of our data migration landscape.
You'll also foster a culture of continuous improvement, mentoring your team to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Focus:Develop data migration strategies aligned with organizational goals.Support the Corporate Markets technology roadmap and programs.Drive continuous improvement across data migration and ETL processes.Optimize team performance and deliver cost-efficient outcomes.Build and lead a high-performing team, ensuring technical expertise and engagement.Identify and address training needs to upskill team members.Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and support career development.Operational Management:Oversee ETL processes across multiple platforms and ensure high-quality data migrations.Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure timely delivery of migration services.Develop and document test procedures to achieve accurate reconciliation and business outcomes.Recommend and implement improvements to ETL tools and processes.Governance & Risk:Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and security requirements.Own and resolve risk and audit items related to data migration.Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to best practices.About You To excel in this role, you'll bring : Proven leadership and people management skills in a complex environment.Expertise in delivering data migration initiatives, with strong stakeholder management.Solid technical experience with data migration tools such as Oracle, SQL, and Informatica essential.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.A collaborative approach with excellent communication skills.Preferred Technical Experience In-depth understanding of database architectures, data validation, and ETL processes.Knowledge of structured programming methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Experience with data cleaning, updating, and management techniques.Why Join MUFG Pension & Market Services?
