Mst Global | Technical Account Manager - Qld

Are you an experienced Field Communications or IT Technician with a strong technical aptitude, looking to move into the customer-facing side of life?
Job Description You'll move into a strategically important role, which includes overarching support within Operations.
You will be working with our existing customers to ensure technical and scoping requirements are completed in line with their requirements and the work meets quality and safety requirements at all times.
This position requires a focus on both internal and external customers.
As a part of the role, we are committed to provide training on our MST Core products which we have engineered and built in house.
Typical daily tasks include: Ensure the completion of required service reports for invoicing of designated service projects Undertake chargeable services with the customer, such as site audits, minor works, training, etc.
Minor fault rectification on customer faults as needed Transfer of knowledge as required to Field staff to ensure continuity of delivery Identify sales growth opportunities Creation of quotes within the MST ERP system.
Follow through order completion from Quote to delivery Identify continual product improvement opportunities Maintain scheduled customer meetings for relationship and business opportunity development.
Everyone at MST is responsible for safety and you will ensure a culture and practice of safety compliance is maintained on all worksites.
Desired Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes: 5+ years' experience in a Technical or similar role with team leader/supervisory experience Technical/Trade qualification in Electronics Engineering, Communications or IT Solutions Architecture Experience in Surface or Underground mining and Hazardous Areas (desirable) A sound understanding of the mining market and ecosystem Adequate experience and capability in computing programs / Microsoft Excellent understanding of human behaviour, high emotional intelligence with the capacity to thrive under pressure A valid driver's license About us: MST Global is an Australian founded company operating globally across six continents and is now part of the Komatsu Group.
