Account & Relationship Management (Sales) The MS Account Manager is responsible for generating sales through direct site visits and interactions with site and senior customer personnel.
The role utilizes industry and equipment specific knowledge and experience to provide superior sales & solutions to existing and prospective customers, to seek out and identify new sales opportunities while promoting and selling Astec Australia service capacity.
Managing the sales accounts for Tracked Crushing & Screening Equipment for Queensland, regular travel and engagement with industry events and innovation is a vital aspect to the success of this position.
Key Responsibilities:Develop strong customer relationships.Provide innovative advice and support to customers.Maintain customer database and present sales forecasts to management team.Investigate any customer issues and rectify to a successful outcome.Liaise with service, sales and engineering staff.Identify opportunities for training and development.Travel, both interstate and internationally.Attend training, industry relevant events and actively promote the Astec brand.Work collaboratively with the Business line manager and marketing consultant for marketing initiatives.Qualifications:To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are: Min 2 years within a similar environment.Experience with Tracked Crushing & Screening Equipment.
Selling, Operating, Maintaining.Experience working in Quarrying, Mining Machinery industries would be desirable.Extensive experience and industry knowledge and understanding of current market trends & challenges.Must be personable and able to build to fit into our High Performance Culture mindset.Able to self-manage workload and perform to strict deadlines.Proactive and able to use critical thinking.Outstanding customer service skills, with excellent time management processes.Ability to develop and maintain customer and vendor relationships.Our Culture and Values:Employees that become part of Astec embody the values below throughout their work.
