Midwest Mowers & Can-Am is currently looking for experienced and talented Motorcycle Mechanics and Small Engine Mechanics to provide a professional service to our clients.
Tasks And Responsibilities Repairs and Servicing of Small Engines - Ride-On, Zero Turns, lawnmowers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers.
Installation of Spare Parts and Accessories Conduct basic and complex diagnostics, service, repairs and maintenance to small equipment and engines Identify and diagnose engine faults Reassemble parts and engines after servicing Perform routine maintenance and service of small engines Dismantle and remove engine components for repairs or replacement Pre-Delivery and Assembly of New Machines Qualifications And Experience Proven experience as a small engine mechanic, specializing in outdoor power equipment.
Good mechanical aptitude A willingness to support other staff members The ability to work supervised and unsupervised.
Problem solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of equipment issues General computer knowledge Manual License preferred but not required Friendly customer service attitude Responsible and take pride in your work Salary: $70,000 - $73,150 a year (commensurate to skills and experience)About Us We are a small family business in Geraldton and the local dealer for Can-Am off-road vehicles.
We also sell and service a full range of power garden equipment including brands such as Husqvarna, Cub Cadet, Bushranger and more.
