About you: Qualification as an Automotive Technician is essential to this role (Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent or higher qualification) At least 2 years experience repairing and servicing a wide range of vehicles Experience as a Toyota Technician highly regarded A high level of attention to detail and pride in your work Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills About the role: Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as outlined in the repair order, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and quality standards. Complete warranty work according to manufacturer requirements, tagging all warranty parts with accurate information and storing them in the designated warranty storage area. Organise and plan each job efficiently to maximise productivity and minimise downtime. Detect and diagnose mechanical faults Repair or replace worn and defective parts Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune-ups. Conduct thorough testing and safety checks following repairs to ensure optimal performance Order required parts promptly from the Parts and Accessories Department to avoid delays. Verify the compatibility and condition of parts before installation. Accurately complete all required paperwork, detailing work performed, issues detected, and parts ordered or replaced. Maintain clear and comprehensive records to support service history and warranty claims. Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to workplace health and safety protocols. Perform other tasks as assigned by management, contributing to team goals and operational efficiency.
