We are looking to employ a Motor Vehicle Technician with a RWC Licence to join our busy Mitsubishi workshop. This is a Full-Time position working Monday to Friday.
The perfect candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and responsible and display the following skills:
Fully Qualified Certificate III in Mechanical Technology - Light VehicleAbility to perform Roadworthy Certifications under the LVT System to a high standardLiaise with Workshop Controller, Used Vehicle Reconditioning Leading Hand, and Used Vehicle Sales TeamAir Conditioning Licence is a distinct advantagePrevious experience in this or a similar roleCurrent driver's licence with the ability to drive manual vehiclesCapacity to problem solve issues and find suitable resolutionsProvide expert advice and report potentially dangerous risks to customers' vehiclesSafely operate hoists and other equipmentConduct road tests as requiredExcellent communication skills, both written and oralThe successful candidate will display the following attributes: Genuine interest in the automotive industry and a keen willingness to learnMature and punctual with a strong work ethicKnowledge of and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety practices, with a diligent focus on safety in the workplaceConscientious and adaptable with a customer-centric approachAble to work comfortably within established proceduresAbility to work unsupervised and be part of a larger team contributing to a positive work environmentTake pride in workmanship with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to deliver quality workmanshipCommitted to working to meet or better targets and standardsAbove all else, we are looking for someone with the right ATTITUDE!
