Motor Technician

Job Summary: We seek a skilled Motor Mechanic to join our team at Europei Motori. As a Motor Mechanic, you will maintain, diagnose, and repair European car makes and models.
About the Role: The ideal candidate will perform duties such as detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, repairing and replacing worn parts, and performing scheduled maintenance services.
Responsibilities: Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts Repairing, maintaining, and testing motor vehicle and other internal combustion engines and related mechanical components Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components and checking parts Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components and referring to service manuals as needed Performing scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired and running a through test and if required, adjusting the mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of a computer May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness May respond to vehicle breakdown service calls Requirements: Certificate III in Automotive with on-the-job experience Minimum 2 years plus experience in a similar role Excellent attention to detail Good written and verbal communication Location: 917 Nepean Highway, Bentleigh VIC 3204
