An opportunity has become available for experienced full-time Motor Mechanics to join Houma Holdings Pty Ltd T/a Brian Hilton Motor Group.Located in Singleton NSW, your responsibilities will include:detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and partsdismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking partsrepairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as neededperforming scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulationsreassembling engines and parts after being repairedtesting and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performancediagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computersmay inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthinessWhat we are searching for:Qualified motor mechanicsA solid record of performance and quality workmanshipHigh level of personal commitment and focusWorks well in a team environmentCurrent and manual driver licenceThe roles offer:Employee discountsOn-the-job trainingCareer pathwaysSalary: $68,000 – $78,000 per yearIf you've been looking for that long term opportunity to be part of a high performing business that looks after its people the way it should, then do not hesitate to apply now.
