Our large display areas allow customers to casually browse the great range of BMW, Jeep, Hyundai, Kia, LDV, Mitsubishi, Volkswagen, MG, RAM and Suzuki Vehicles.Position Criteria:The company is looking for skilled and experienced Motor Mechanics with a minimum of three years post-trade experience.As a Motor Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. If you are passionate about automotive engineering and possess a strong technical aptitude, we encourage you to apply.Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles to identify and assess mechanical issues.Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine overhauls, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and electrical system troubleshooting.Utilise diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately diagnose complex automotive problems and recommend appropriate solutions.Follow manufacturer's specifications and industry standards to ensure high-quality repairs and service delivery.Maintain detailed and accurate records of all service and repair activities.Stay informed about the latest advancements in automotive technology and industry trends to enhance your skills and knowledge.Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with clients to explain repair procedures and recommendations.Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment.Collaborate with other team members, including service advisors and technicians, to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.Participate in training programs and workshops to further develop your technical expertise and stay updated with industry best practices.Help other mechanics and technicians with day-to-day duties.Assist manufacturers in diagnosing vehicles as required.Liaise with service advisors and the parts department.Help train technicians (including apprentices).To be successful within these roles, you will possess the following skills and attributes:Relevant Trade qualifications; Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or Equivalent.Experience in one of the brands is desirable however, not essential.Excellent time management/organisational skills and attention to detail.A willingness to learn and an appetite for challenge.Demonstrated workshop experience in detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and electrics (preferred, but not essential).What's on offer:For the successful applicant, you will be remunerated with an attractive salary.
