Motor Mechanic

The Pirtek Group is an Australian owned company specialising in the service and replacement of hydraulic/ industrial hose fittings and ancillary equipment. We are seeking a motivated person to fill the position of Mobile Service Technician for the Melbourne Central Service and Supply Centre.
Strong consideration will be given to applicants who show evidence of the following:
Minimum 2 years experienceA trade background with previous experience working with industrial mechanical equipmentHave a strong understanding of customer serviceBe able to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devicesDiagnostic and problem solving skillsExperience with hydraulics and pneumaticsExperience with hose, fittings and tube workHave a strong work ethic and pride in workmanshipAbility to schedule and prioritise workloadGood numeracy, verbal and written skillsUnderstand OHS and Safe Work PracticesCurrent Manual Driver's LicenceFlexibility with working hours, as after hours availability is a pre-requisiteSelf driven with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a teamThe position comes with a fully maintained service vehicle.
