We're seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic to become an integral part of our team at JAX Tyres & Auto Geelong.
You'll be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a diverse range of vehicles, ensuring every car receives top-quality care.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify mechanical issues.
Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, brakes, transmissions, electrical systems, and more.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical problems efficiently.
Replace or repair key vehicle components, such as belts, hoses, and filters.
Carry out routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments.
Provide clear explanations of repair needs and recommendations to customers.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and time spent on repairs.
Adhere to all safety standards and regulations in the workshop.
Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service and on-time delivery.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to uphold our service standards.
Manage and maintain tools and equipment inventory, ensuring everything is in good working order.
What We're Looking For: A trade qualification in Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
