Job description
We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team, where you'll be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services on a variety of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive inspections and diagnostics to identify mechanical issues.
Perform repairs and maintenance on systems like engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical components.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues with efficiency.
Repair and replace vehicle components such as belts, hoses, and filters.
Handle routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments.
Deliver excellent customer service by clearly explaining repair needs and recommendations.
Maintain detailed records of completed work, parts used, and labor time.
Comply with all safety standards and regulations within the workshop.
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure high-quality service and timely delivery.
Stay informed on industry trends, tools, and techniques to maintain high standards.
Manage and maintain tools and equipment inventory, ensuring all tools are in proper working order.

Criteria:

A trade qualification of Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
Solid understanding of petrol engines and various vehicle mechanical systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
