Perfect Auto Services is seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic to join our team. You'll be responsible for maintaining, testing, and repairing petrol engines and mechanical components of light vehicles, including transmissions, suspension, steering, and brakes.

Perfect Auto Services, located in Hoppers Crossing, Victoria, is a leading car repair shop committed to exceptional service and high-quality repairs. Our team of automotive professionals is dedicated to providing reliable, top-tier care to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and detect mechanical and electrical issues in engines and vehicle components.
Dismantle engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems, and other parts for inspection and repair.
Replace worn or defective parts and reassemble components, using service manuals as needed.
Perform scheduled maintenance, such as oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups, to ensure smooth vehicle operation and compliance with environmental standards.
Reassemble and test mechanical components after repairs to ensure proper performance.
Use diagnostic tools to test and adjust vehicle parts.
Conduct vehicle inspections and issue roadworthiness certificates or provide detailed feedback on required repairs.
Provide roadside assistance for vehicle breakdowns as necessary.

Requirements:

Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or an equivalent trade qualification.
At least 2 years of experience in automotive repairs and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of petrol engines and vehicle mechanical systems.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
