WRW Mechanical Repairs is seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic to join our dynamic team.
As a Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for the following duties: · Provide accurate estimates of cost, time, effort for a repair or maintenance job.
· Dealing with suspensions, brakes, air conditioning, coolant and more on passenger cars · Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, giving tune-ups, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires.
· Dealing with customers on a day-to-day basis and performing duties in a timely and accurate manner.
· Inspect and adjust mechanical systems to verify alignment, balance, and fit after the repairs.
· Respond promptly to vehicle breakdown service calls and travel to the location of the stranded vehicle.
· Inspect vehicles thoroughly to assess their condition and determine if they meet roadworthiness standards.
· Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of different brands of vehicles in compliance with manufacturer's guidelines and ensure compliance with regulations.
· Inspect mechanisms of engine, transmissions, steering, or other components including dismantling and reassembling of engine parts, ensuring all parts are correctly installed and properly functioning.
· Inspect removed parts for wear, damage, or other issues to determine whether repairs or replacements are needed.
· Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to evaluate the performance of repaired components such as engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
Skills and Abilities: · A minimum qualification of Certificate III or Certificate IV is required.
· 3 years of work experience in a similar role is required.
· Driven and enthusiastic individual with strong determination · Work under minimum supervision · Work under pressure.
Salary: · $70,000 - $80,000 annually plus superannuation.
