Our customers know Auto Fix for its fast, expert and affordable servicing and repair work.We also work with Bosch and offer a specialised Bosch Car Service with nationwide warranty.Our workshop is located in Rosebery, NSW.Who You AreOur Motor Mechanic will be responsible for the following:Inspection and MaintenanceConducting routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations and brake inspectionsChecking fluid levels, tire pressures and other vehicle systems to ensure that they are in good working orderDiagnostic TestingUsing software and diagnostic tools to find issues with the vehicle's engine, transmission, electrical systems and other componentsInterpreting diagnostic results to determine the root cause of the problemRepair and ReplacementRepairing or replacing damaged parts such as brakes, mufflers and beltsOverhauling engines or rebuilding parts when necessaryTechnical WorkPerforming complex repairs on various vehicle systems including engine, transmission, suspension and steeringWorking with both gasoline and diesel engines as well as hybrid and electricTesting and AdjustingTesting vehicles after repairsMaking adjustments to alignments, brakes and other systems to meet the manufacturer specificationsYou must have experience as a motor mechanic. You must have a good knowledge of vehicle systems and common/complex problems. You will be able to confidently assemble and install new vehicle and engine parts, when necessary. You must have excellent customer service skills and you must be able to confidently explain vehicle issues, repair options and costs.You will be joining a passionate and professional team. You must be hard-working and a good team player. Please note that this is a full-time and permanent position.
