Motor Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Mechanic as well as a car enthusiast who wants to become qualified to join our dedicated team in our workshop LS Mechanical & Crash Repairs. The main role is to diagnose, repair, maintain and test motor vehicles. Main duties include repairing damaged engines and motor vehicle parts in emergency situations for company vehicles and for external customers that are on-site or off-site. All vehicles are thoroughly repaired and inspected as per workshop standards for total driver satisfaction.
Motor Mechanic Position Description: Perform full mechanical inspection of all vehiclesService and repair petrol fuel systems of vehiclesRepair and replace turbo chargersInspect and service braking systemsRepair and replace emission control systemsRepair and replace suspension systems and exhaust systemsInspect and service emission control systemsTest, service, and charge batteriesInspect and service enginesCarry out repairs of car motor enginesRepair ignition systemsService and repair electronic spark ignition engine management systemsRepair charging systems and starting systemsService and repair electronic drive management systemsService and repair electronic body management systemsTo be considered for this role, you should: Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related tradeMinimum 2 years of experience as a qualified Motor MechanicStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workAbility to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environmentGood customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearlyCurrent driver's licence and your own reliable transportAnnual Salary: AUD 70,000 - 80,000
