About the Role

Farid Motos is a well-established automotive service provider specializing in vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.

Due to business expansion, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team.
Key Responsibilities/ job duties of a Motor Mechanic:

Diagnosing vehicle problems: Identifying mechanical issues by inspecting parts, components, and systems in vehicles such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Repairing and replacing parts: Fixing or replacing faulty vehicle parts, including engines, transmissions, and steering components.
Conducting vehicle maintenance: Performing regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and brake servicing to ensure the vehicle runs efficiently.
Testing vehicles: Running diagnostic tests using specialized equipment to ensure vehicles are operating correctly after repairs or maintenance.
Using hand and power tools: Employing a variety of tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components.
Adhering to safety standards: Following safety protocols and industry standards while handling vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Customer service: Interacting with clients to explain vehicle issues, repair options, costs, and timelines.
Keeping records: Maintaining accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed.
Updating knowledge: Staying up-to-date with new vehicle technologies, repair methods, and diagnostic equipment.
Skills and Experience Required

A Certificate III or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or related field).
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Motor Mechanic, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of current mechanical tools and equipment.
Good communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
Understanding of workplace safety procedures.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year


Nominal Salary: To be agreed
