We currently have a full-time position available for an on-road Motor Assessor.
About the role At AAMC, you'll never be bored. You won't be stuck in a single location completing dull, repetitive work. You'll have the flexibility that you need to achieve a balance between your work life and your personal life.
Your days will be interesting and varied, and will help you grow and develop as an assessor.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and preparing detailed assessment reports Negotiating, monitoring, and communicating outcomes to clients and claimants Managing relationships with repairers Controlling client costs in line with business requirements Calculating vehicle values in line with accepted industry guidelines Undertaking local and regional travel (as required) - Looking for assessors based anywhere, ideally in the Gippsland region About us AAMC are Australia's leading motor accident management and assessing specialist. About you To be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate:
Solid understanding of the insurance assessing industry Motor vehicle trade qualified (preferred) – preferably Panel Beating or spray painting Experience as a repair shop manager or estimator (preferred) Knowledge of MS Office applications Excellent communication skills – written and verbal Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills Self-motivated and able to work autonomously National Australian Police Check and willingness to obtain What's in it for you?
