So, if you want to be part of a values led organisation, that is a leader in the insurance industry with a track record of making a real difference and continuously taking steps toward a sustainable future for our people, customers, communities, and our planet…read on!Let's create a brighter future together, let's make a differenceReporting to the Underwriting Manager, Motor Energy & Fleet WA/SA, the Motor Fleet Underwriter will analyze and underwrite new and renewal business, regularly interacting and facing the market, under limited supervision, utilizing The Zurich Way of Underwriting Framework within delegated authority levels on assignments of moderate technical complexity ensuring a high level service to customers.You will be responsible for the following:Administer and monitor underwriting rules and guidelines, rating manual rules, and insurance laws and regulations.Develop, maintain & collaborate with Line of Business representatives and other business related needs, as appropriate.Develop and maintain relationships with brokers in support of business retention and acquisition and works with customers and distributors (brokers) to determine their insurance related needs and provide solutions.Proactively seek renewal and new account opportunities.Complete detailed opportunity assessment with key distributors to identify growth opportunities.Qualify accounts to meet with the organization's appetite, balanced with sound business opportunity.Cross-Sell other lines of business to increase the organization's product density with the account.Promote the organization's products and services in order to increase penetration with agency.Important to your success - let's grow togetherIn order to be successful, you will require the following:Business degree (preferred)ANZIIF CIP Insurance QualificationMultiple years working within the insurance industry with underwriting and sales experienceUses specialised knowledge and expertise in products and industry to underwrite and analyse new and renewal business within delegated authority levelsIntermediate knowledge of Lines of BusinessKnowledge of the relevant Legislation and Regulations governing the General Insurance industryAbility to assess risksKnowledge of processing methods and workflow proceduresBe empowered.
