A fabulous opportunity has become available for an experienced Claims Officer to handle the management of general insurance motor claims.
This exciting role will involve you providing an exceptional level of member service by responding to all internal and external customers regarding their insurance claims queries. As well as processing claims within the RAA Insurance claims area, within established guidelines, efficiently and professionally, in order to achieve a fair and equitable settlement. In addition, you will:
Provide outstanding service to our Members
Interpret and apply policy conditions to settle claims
Liaise with stakeholders such as Assessors, Loss Adjusters, Investigators and Solicitors
Process claims and associated administration
Able to achieve set KPI's and quality targets consistently
About you
You are a confident and passionate self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a high performing culture. You're passionate about helping our community (and members) and want to make a difference.
At RAA we hire on cultural fit first and technical fit second! However, to be successful in the role you will need to have:
Motor or similar general insurance claims experience is preferred
Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to apply learnings across different scenarios
Outstanding attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
The empathy to deal with customers who have suffered a loss
A positive can-do attitude and team ethos
Intermediate PC skills, and experience with Insurance based systems.
