Motor Claims forms part of the Operations department, which is known as the heart of Hollard. The Motor Claims Consultant role is responsible for managing all claims, providing excellence in customer service via empathic support and accurate guidance to customers. This is to be done whilst ensuring cost control strategies are adhered to. This role is instrumental in ensuring that our customers' expectations and claims are proactively managed through the life of the claim whilst ensuring all policy guidelines and procedures are adhered to.
There will be a requirement for Sydney and Perth based candidates to come into the office once per month. 
Duties & Responsibilities: Reporting to the Motor Claims Team Manager the key focus areas will be:
Day to day management of customer enquiries and validating reported insurance claims.  Providing our customers with empathy, certainty, guidance, support and final resolution of claim situations and enquiries whilst at all times doing so with excellent customer service.  Process claims and provide ongoing claims acceptance decisions and advice on product coverage as per policies and procedures.  Management and proactive maintenance of outstanding claim reserves at every claim interaction to ensure the accuracy of the claim reserves.  Provide accurate advice to customers and clear information of the next steps in the process of their claim.  Knowledge & Qualifications: Knowledge of Claims discipline, practices and products. Strong Customer Service skills & resilience, preferably in a call-center environment. Computer literate with competencies in Microsoft product offerings. Strong attention to detail.
