Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Motel Manager to lead our team, ensuring the smooth operation of all aspects of the motel.
The successful candidate will manage a range of services and activities, from reservations and housekeeping to dining and event coordination, providing guests with an exceptional experience during their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily operations across reservations, reception, room service, and housekeeping to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Supervise security protocols along with the maintenance of the property and gardens to uphold a welcoming and safe environment.
• Coordinate the motel's dining services, bars, and event planning, including functions and conferences, ensuring a high standard of service and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Monitor adherence to legal requirements to ensure the motel operates within the stipulated frameworks.
• Regularly evaluate guest feedback to continually improve the quality of service and guest experience.
• Oversee financial activities, including accounting and procurement, ensuring cost-effective management of resources.
• Enforce occupational health and safety standards across all areas of operation to protect both guests and staff.
• Provide guests with information about local attractions, arrange tours, and manage transportation needs to enhance guest experiences.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the motel's services and special offers.
• Train and mentor staff to ensure a consistently high standard of customer service and operational efficiency.
Location: Tamworth, NSW
Hours of Work: This is a full-time role requiring 38 hours of work per week.
Salary: The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Required Qualifications:
• Applicants should possess an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role within the hospitality industry is required.
