Position: Motel Manager Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Motel Manager to lead our team, ensuring the smooth operation of all aspects of the motel. The successful candidate will manage a range of services and activities, from reservations and housekeeping to dining and event coordination, providing guests with an exceptional experience during their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations across reservations, reception, room service, and housekeeping to ensure guest satisfaction.
Supervise security protocols along with the maintenance of the property and gardens to uphold a welcoming and safe environment.
Coordinate the motel's dining services, bars, and event planning, including functions and conferences, ensuring a high standard of service and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Monitor adherence to legal requirements to ensure the motel operates within the stipulated frameworks.
Regularly evaluate guest feedback to continually improve the quality of service and guest experience.
Oversee financial activities, including accounting and procurement, ensuring cost-effective management of resources.
Enforce occupational health and safety standards across all areas of operation to protect both guests and staff.
Provide guests with information about local attractions, arrange tours, and manage transportation needs to enhance guest experiences.
Additional Responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the motel's services and special offers.
Train and mentor staff to ensure a consistently high standard of customer service and operational efficiency.

Hours of Work:
This is a full-time role requiring 38 hours of work per week.
Salary:
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants should possess an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant field.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role within the hospitality industry is required.
