Motel Management Couple

Details of the offer

Location: Various areas in Adelaide and regional South Australia, including Mount Gambier, Naracoorte, Robe, Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, and surrounding towns.
Positions available for sole managers and management teams of two .
Most motels have 16 to 38+ rooms with facilities such as pools, gardens, and lawn areas. Some motels offer breakfast, lunch packs for workers, and/or have an onsite restaurant.
Accommodation and utilities during your contract Weekly contracted rate, negotiated at each motel Meals often included at motels with an onsite restaurant Position Objective As a relief motel manager, you will:
Operate the motel in line with established procedures (see key duties below) Stay onsite throughout the contract period Lead and support the housekeeping team Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations Required Skills & Qualifications Prior management experience in the motel or hospitality industry (or willingness to train) Public liability insurance and ABN Passion, motivation, and high interpersonal skills to engage with diverse guests Familiarity with Property Management Systems (e.g., GuestPoint, Satin) and online booking platforms (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia) is an advantage Food Safety Supervisor certification Responsible Service of Alcohol certification First Aid certification Key Duties Availability: Live onsite, work weekends and holidays, and be on-call for guests. Daily Operations: Manage reception, guest bookings, requests, and complaints; perform daily financial reconciliations; respond to guest feedback. Team Management: Oversee housekeeping schedules, and assist with room preparation as needed. Guest Services: Provide guests with breakfast (continental/cooked) and dinner as required. Maintenance: Oversee room upkeep, grounds, pool, and laundry as needed; coordinate with contractors as required. Inventory Management: Handle ordering, stock-taking, and inventory control. Restaurant (if applicable): Oversee and assist as required. Work, Health, and Safety Responsibilities Managers and supervisors must:
Model safe work behaviours and ensure team adherence to WHS policies Consult with team members on WHS issues and encourage early reporting of incidents Provide necessary safety information, training, and supervision #J-18808-Ljbffr
