As a cleaner in this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our patients and guests.
This role is crucial in creating a positive experience for patients and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will directly contribute to the well-being of the patients we provide accommodation for.
Maintain a clean and hygienic environment throughout Patient Accommodation facilitiesThoroughly clean and sanitize patient rooms to ensure a comfortable and safe space for all tenantsAttend to the needs of patients by servicing their rooms, including bed making and general cleaningEfficiently distribute clean linens to designated linen cupboards, ensuring an adequate supply is always availableAssist the Manager in monitoring stock levels, helping to identify needs for ordering supplies, and ensuring that inventory is well-organisedManage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing of all in-house linenEnsure proper disposal of waste by regularly removing rubbish from patient rooms and common areas, adhering to Patient Accommodation cleaning standardsRecord and report maintenance issues to ensure prompt resolutionRegularly clean and maintain common areas to provide a welcoming and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staffCollaborate with the management team to enhance operational efficiency and assist with any other related tasks as neededAbout you Previous experience in a similar cleaning roleKnowledge of cleaning procedures and practices, including proper handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipmentAttention to detail, ensuring thorough cleaning and sanitization of all areasAbility to work independently and efficiently, managing time effectively to complete tasks within designated timelinesStrong communication skills, enabling you to interact professionally and courteously with patients, guests, and team membersFlexibility to work on a casual basis, housekeeping hours are 8am - 2.30pm Monday - Friday and some weekends to accommodate the needs of our facilityAdvertised: 15 Nov 2024 E.
