Mortician/Funeral Director

Are you an experienced mortician/funeral director looking for a lifestyle change? Come and experience life in the Outback working at a well-established funeral home. Centre Funeral Services has been assisting the families of Alice Springs and Central Australia for over 45 years and pride ourselves on our genuine desire to help the families we serve. We are currently seeking someone to complement our team who feels the same way.
Ideally, the successful applicant would possess the following:
Friendly, caring and professional attitude and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. High competence in all areas of mortuary work (requisite). Familiarity in operating a crematorium or willingness to learn. High attention to detail with effective and efficient communication. Ability to multitask and adapt to highly changeable workplace conditions. Availability to be part of the on-call roster, possessing ability to perform physical requirements of the job. Current manual Driver's Licence; potential for long distance and occasional dirt road driving required. Current Police Check.
