ABOUT THE ROLE Due to ongoing growth, our service operations are expanding and we have a permanent, full-time opportunity available for a MC Driver – Livestock to join our growing and passionate team. This valued position will require experience in the following: Operation of trucks across specific routes in our network. Loading and unloading cattle from trucks. Adhering to safe work conditions and driving within allotted hours to ensure that fatigue is managed correctly. Drive vehicle combinations in accordance with regulations and company procedures. Inspect truck for safe operation condition before, during and after trips including submission of trip inspections if required. Ensure that all load documentation required to move livestock is available for inspection. ABOUT YOU This valued position will require a mechanical fitter background with an ability to: Current MC licence. At least 1 year's experience in livestock transport. Basic Fatigue Management Training (will have or willing to obtain). Health assessment for commercial driving (will have or willing to obtain). Current Traffic history (will have or willing to obtain). Q Fever vaccination (will have or willing to obtain). Availability to work any five in seven days, while working within logbook guidelines.
