Our business continues to experience growth and we are looking for someone to help us serve our wonderful clients promptly, with care and enthusiasm, while supporting our motivated team of lawyers and paralegals. This role is full-time and in-person, based in our leafy office in Kingston. If you're right for this job, you will be focused on the client experience, have an interest in humans, have great attention to detail and care about our clients' successes. You will be at the heart of our practice, ensuring everything runs smoothly for our team and our clients.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on taking initiative, notices the little things that keep a business humming, and loves the satisfaction of a job well done.
Who we are looking for You're a professional administrator with a passion for client success and business management. You understand that seamless client service starts with a well-organized office, and you have the skills to make that happen.
You appreciate that working in a small and specialised business means that this role is a mix of everyday admin and impactful planning and management. Every task - big or small - is worth doing and makes a real difference to the team and clients.
We're looking for someone who:
is a natural 'doer' with experience in administration really cares about high quality customer service and the client experience understands that impeccable presentation is the key to a great first impression can anticipate the needs of the team and clients, from keeping the milk stocked to preparing the board room for a hybrid meeting is interested in how the machinery of business works finds business administration satisfying has an interest in the future of technology and automation in business wants to experiment with communications and marketing with our fabulous team genuinely loves working with people and working as part of a team towards everyone's success But not essential if you have experience in any of the following, we'd love to hear from you:
office management legal practice management (or practice management in other professional consultancy) finance or bookkeeping (experience with trust accounts means bonus points! ) Your role will include doing or overseeing:
being the first point of contact for clients and deliveries at our office office set-up and pack-down every day client hospitality and meeting room hygiene processing incoming and outgoing mail and email client welcome, file opening and managing file closing and safe custody providing assistance in managing our business automations client and team experience generally Some of the perks of working with us are:
