About the OpportunityWe have multiple vacancies for General Assistants (Casual) to join our amazing teams located in the Bowen Basin, QLD (approximately 2-3 hours inland from Mackay).
This is a great opportunity to gain experience with a global company and a supportive team.
As a General Assistant, you will receive comprehensive training and support in all 3 key departments in Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Retail, to ensure your success in your role.
These are casual opportunities and would suit candidates who are juggling studies, parenting duties and or those who are just looking to gain industry experience.
Key Responsibilities To provide high quality housekeeping service to our guests, ensuring rooms are cleaned thoroughly, well stocked, and provided with linen in a timely manner.
To provide a first-class food & beverage service to guests consistent with service and quality standards of Civeo.
To assist the kitchen team with food preparation, storage and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
Apply safe work practices to contribute to the safety culture at Civeo.
To deliver excellent service to the management team, colleagues and our guests.
All other ad hoc tasks as required.
About You Flexibility to work, day and/or night shifts as required.
Demonstrated relevant work experience, preferably from a commercial hospitality industry A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate or be willing to obtain Current Driver's Licence (highly regarded) A great team player with the ability to work well under pressure The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening A National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain Valid Australian work rights Strong time management and communication skills What we can offer you BYO Work Mate Referral Incentive Program *Conditions Apply.
