A loving family in Moorebank, NSW are seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny/mother's helper to assist caring for their two girls (16 months old and newborn).The family are looking for a nanny who is bubbly, engaging, and fun to be around but also nurturing, patient, and calm. Someone who can structure their day, follow the children's/family routines and provide fun, creative and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities that will assist in the children's growth and development.A nanny who has strong personal values, is trustworthy, reliable and able to form a special bond with the whole family and stay on a long term basis.Experience with young babies and toddlers is essential for this role.The nanny must be comfortable working alongside Mum and having her at home. Very rarely will the nanny look after two children at once but will mostly share the load between the two children and assist with keeping the household running smoothly.The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows:To care for the childrenFollow the children's routinesPlay and engage with the childrenTake the children to activities ie playground, walks and to the park, sporting activities, play groups etc.Light household duties including tidying and clearing up after the childrenHelp prepare/cook meals for the childrenGrocery shoppingRunning errandsContract length: 12+ months, long term preferredPay: From $35 – $40 per hour depending on experience. Negotiable for the right candidate.The days and normal hours are: 3 days per week - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7.30am – 4.00pm. At times, and with notice, the family will require later hours and/or additional days.The family's expectations from their nanny are:Must have a minimum of 5 years nanny or childcare experienceChildcare qualification (preferred but not essential)Experience caring for young babies and toddlersHave a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)Have a current Working with Children CheckBasic cooking skillsFull drivers licence and clean driving recordComfortable with dogs (the family have two dogs)Job Reference: LLM220Please quote job reference in the comments section of the application form.
